Meet some of our talent.
My career path with dd’s has been a great experience. My initial role helped me with organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail, as well as following up. It also helped me learn how to manage multiple priorities, including communication, recruiting, training and coaching associates. This is such a great Company to work for, and I can see myself here for the long term.
Ross provides opportunities for young professionals to develop into future leaders. During my internship, I was involved with all levels of store operations. I also had the opportunity to take part in a volunteer event with the Boys and Girls Club. The best part of my internship was transitioning from an associate to a leader in a short amount of time. Ross gave me the time, training and tools to be successful.
I was an intern during the summer of 2012 and decided to return full-time after a very positive experience. The people I worked with were not only very smart, accomplished and hard-working, but also refreshingly humble. I respected the analytical mindset with which every team at Ross approaches their work. And I loved the Ross business model. Ross is a great place to start a business career.
By working here, I’ve learned about sourcing products and doing business overseas. I’ve also had opportunities to interact with people of many different backgrounds and cultures. We have excellent relationships with our vendors. Not only are they business partners, but they’re also our friends. Everyone was so willing to teach. They also took the time to engage me in meetings and training sessions.
